CLASSICS-SF keeps coming strong in 2022. *Rick Ross Voice* That Omarion *hopefully* won’t hold us back.

On the 12th of February at Slate Bar in the Mission District, we’ll be celebrating the life and music of James Dewitt Yancey aka J-Dilla aka Jay Dee, aka whole body blingin’ like C-3PO, nigga.

Episode 3 of CLASSICS-SF: Season 2 is an emotional one for a few reasons, so it comes with a heavy heart. Back in 2019, our Dilla night was the first ever CLASSICS-SF and RCA‘s first ever DJ gig.

This event also comes two days after the anniversary of his homecoming. In honor of that, all proceeds and donations will go to The Lupus Foundation. This donation will be made in honor of RCA‘s sister, who also suffers from Lupus.
