Horizon Point is an alternative band from Modesto, CA that formed in the summer of 2021. The band includes Jen Waters (vocals/bass), Jordan Waters (vocals/guitar), Adam Castellanos (drums), The Count (lead guitar), and Raul Slaps (trombone).

Horizon Point’s music can be described as pop punk with hints of ska, emo, and various alternative influences. The lyrics are modern tales of heartbreak, resilience, and navigating life in the central valley, with a strong focus on mental health advocacy. Punchy melodies are accompanied by dynamic percussion, rich guitar tones, and horns, to create a bold and fun listening experience.

Local Bylaws: Since forming in 2021 as an antidote to the bleak and lonely pandemic world around them, Bay Area’s LOCAL BYLAWS have harnessed pure energy into their brand of ferocious, female-fronted punk rock. Ginger Pennington, Alex Rocheleau, and Tyler Cull, having met online, found an easy alliance when they realized they were all union workers (a UBC carpenter, an IBEW electrician, and a SAG-AFTRA actress), and this connection translated well into the music, lending an all-for-one ethos to their blue collar, glam-yet-gritty debut EP, Working Agreement.
