Janaka Selekta ft Riffat Sultana & Ishmeet Narula
Janaka Selekta started DJing Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass to packed underground venues in the late 90’s in San Francisco. Over the years his sets evolved to include many genres, seamlessly moving from different tempos and intensities to truly electrify a dancefloor. Janaka has won a number of awards including Readers Poll Best DJ in San Francisco from The SF Guardian and his band/collective Dhamaal has won Best Electronic Act 2 years in row.
After signing his band Gods Robots to Sony Music India in 2013, Janaka’s live electronic focused projects have taken center stage, regularly collaborating with highly respected musicians from India (Ishmeet Narula, Vidya Venkat, ) Pakistan (Riffat Sultana) and Africa (Samba Guisse).
